FIRST MARLIN OF THE SEASON - 06 January 2012

The first marlin of the Season was a tagged Striped Marlin by Guy Sutherland from the boat Levante on the 4th January 2012 at 6.30 am. Guy is a member of the Bay of Islands Swordfish Club

The first marlin weighed was caught by Donna Pascoe from the boat Gladiator on 5th January 2012 and landed at 8.59 am. This fish was weighed by the Whangarei Deep Sea Angler's Club and went 96.60 kgs.  Donna is a member of the Houhora Big Game & Sports Fishing Club
