FIRST MARLIN - 30 December 2012

The first marlin of the season goes to a tagged marlin

28.12.12 - Steve Angus Tagged a Striped Marlin at 10.30 am. The fish was estimated 90 kg and Steve was fishing on the Boat Kotare. He is a member of the Doubtless Bay Sportfishing Club Inc. This fish was tagged at Cape Karikari.

29.12.12 - Jamie Lee had a 108 kg Striped Marlin weighed by the Waihau Bay sports Fishing Club Inc at 10.45 am. Jamie was fishing on the Boat Strictly Business and is a member of the Whangamata Ocean Sports Club Inc.  The fish was caught at Oreti Point, Waihau Bay.
