Fisheries Management Annual Reports

Introduction

The New Zealand Sport Fishing Council invests over $200,000 every year in fisheries management, policy and science processes. Members of affiliated clubs contribute a portion of their fees to help support work and 100% of public donations made to LegaSea are also invested into this work. Fisheries management work includes advocacy, education, research and alignment with other organisations. This effort is coordinated and overseen by the Council’s Fisheries Management Marine Protection Standing Committee.

The Fisheries Management Annual Reports below also include the LegaSea Annual Reports for the corresponding year.
